Hand-carved gemstones have centuries of history, and have been part of nearly every civilization. This ring holds a carved dark brown sardonyx with an elegant profile with polished highlights on the collar. The detail is very well done. The portrait is set in a polished bezel in a gypsy-style setting with hand-florentined finishes along the sides. The top measures about 7/8” in length; the 14K ring is made for a finger size 10, and may be sized up or down by at least one size.
