This wonderful necklace, dating to ca. 1900, must have seen some wonderful events and parties in its 120 years! The aquamarine has an estimated weight of 40 carats; the frame and chain have accents of black, red and green enamel; the seed pearls give the final touch. The pendant measures about 2 3/8” in overall length; the chain is on the shorter side, at 15”, but an extension may be added to the cable links by the clasp. In mint condition, this is a special piece of jewelry.
